ITALY
TERNI
The city of Terni is located in the centre of Italy and it has about 110,000 inhabitants, with 65,000 electricity consumers connected to the power distribution network. The average daily energy distributed is about 890 MWh, which is increasing year by year and generating significant bidirectional power flows.

Use Cases
CHARGING SCENARIO: CHARGING STATION
V2G integration in public charging stations for addressing technical grid constraints

CHARGING SCENARIO: CHARGING STATION
V2G for network stabilization of locally-managed RES- congested grids
Expected impacts
DriVe2X aims to enable V2G (vehicle to grid) services for the local and efficient management of a microgrid. Furthermore, the demo site wants to demonstrate a local flexibility marketplace platform where aggregators and EV owners offer flexibility resources for the secure and efficient management of the power distribution network.
Business model
The demo site ensures microgrid stability by balancing load and generation through a dynamic bidirectional V2G power exchange. Furthermore, a flexibility marketplace is offered for decentralised services to avoid grid congestions.
