DriVe2X will take part in NetZero Milan 2026, taking place from 20 to 22 October 2026 at Allianz MiCo in Milan, Italy. The project will be represented by its partner ICONS, leader of communication, dissemination, exploitation and engagement activities, at its own stand within the Solutions Hub area of the exhibition.
NetZero Milan is one of Europe’s leading events dedicated to the net-zero transition. It brings together industry leaders, research organisations, public authorities, innovators and investors working to accelerate Europe’s path towards climate neutrality — an ideal opportunity to showcase innovative solutions, exchange knowledge and foster new collaborations.
What DriVe2X brings to the net-zero conversation
Electric vehicles are usually seen as something to be charged. DriVe2X turns this idea around: with bidirectional smart charging, EVs can also give energy back to homes, buildings and the electricity grid, providing the flexibility that a renewables-based energy system needs.
At the ICONS Stand, visitors will be able to discover how the project is developing next-generation, lower-cost bidirectional chargers and testing them in real conditions across eight demonstration sites in five European locations: Amsterdam (Netherlands), Budapest (Hungary), Terni (Italy), Maia (Portugal) and the Isle of Wight (UK).The team will also present the project’s work on a dynamic marketplace for trading V2X flexibility locally, and on the human dimension of smart charging: understanding what drives EV users to embrace these technologies.
Visitors are warmly invited to stop by the stand to meet the project representative, explore DriVe2X’s results and discuss opportunities for collaboration.
