DriVe2X is now onto season two of the “DriVe2X Talks”, with new interviews showcasing the latest advancements and progress made by the project in these two years.
So we start this year’s series with Gonçalo Pinto Mendes, project coordinator at LUT and lead coordinator of DriVe2X, who delves into the achievements and next steps of the DriVe2X project.
Goncalo goes over the milestones achieved by DriVe2X, particularly highlighting the focus on the realisation of the pilot sites and improving the hardware technologies. “The development phase has been the main focus for the past 1.5 years, from creating CPO environments, front-end and back-end, and the user interface of the chargers.”
As of now, Goncalo explains how the project is shifting into a more operational phase, working on installing the first chargers and gathering feedback from the users.
DriVe2X is also consistently supporting European charger manufacturers by aiding in testing their products before they are put out on the market and by helping them refine them as essential partners.
