Energy Management & Systems Modeling

The Institute of Networked Energy Systems, an institution of the German Aerospace Center (DLR), develops technologies and concepts for future energy supply based on renewable energies. The major challenge is how to form stable and efficient energy systems from weather-dependent decentralised production units. In the DriVe2X project, the institute is firstly developing prediction methods using machine learning procedures with which V2G flexibilities can be determined, quantified, and optimised. On the other hand, it deals with strategies for the large-scale introduction of V2X charging stations.
