Project Coordinator

The Lappeenranta-Lahti University of Technology LUT is a Finnish public university specializing in multidisciplinary societal issues, such as the mitigation of climate change and the continuous availability of clean water and energy. LUT’s scientific research and education involve 1200 academic experts and 6600 students. One of LUT’s faculties, the School of Energy Systems (LES) forms the largest academic energy community in Finland. Research at LES is systems-based, involving the entire energy value chain.

LUT is the project coordinator of DriVe2X, being represented through its Laboratory of Electricity Markets and Power Systems – LEMPS – at LES. LUT holds various other roles across the project, including marketplace design, development of business models, and contribution to international standardization activities.
