NOTTINGHAM TRENT UNIVERSITY

R&I on Local Flexibility MarketsĀ and Isle of Wight Demo

NTU-GridLab, led by Dr Vahid Vahidinasab at Nottingham Trent University, is developing and testing innovative modeling and optimization solutions for future power and energy systems. These solutions will allow households and local communities to take back control over their energy consumption, costs, and choices. Through a series of research projects focused on empowering people and societies during the transition to net-zero carbon, they are developing ground-breaking solutions for a resilient system and society that facilitate energy provision in a sustainable, affordable, and secure manner.
